There was this lovely couple who wanted to buy this pretty house in NH and they put in an offer. An offer they felt was reasonable considering what the owner still owed on the house. They were at the top of what they felt they could afford so, if the offer was accepted they would move forward. The owner counter-offered and wanted $5,000 more. A little frustrated, they declined. They waited and waited and hoped things would work out in their favor. The wife became impatient and cleaned and cleaned the apartment to keep her mind off it all. The husband noticed how impatient and anxious his wife became but sat by her with love.
A few days passed and the woman received a phone call saying the owner would accept the original offer but that he has no more money to put into the things that might need to be fixed from the inspection. Excitement ran through her body but hesitant on how the inspection would turn out.
